deadly dodge(mythic)

hey all, quick question:

mythic trickster is surounded by enemies. can he choose the deadly dodge (+4 ac) and total defence (for another +6 ac *high acrobatics) and use the opportinity attacks from the enemies that missed him NOT direcly on them, but as the power says "or force that creature to reroll the attack and change the target to a creature of your choice that is adjacent to you and within the attacker's reach" ??

in total defence you cant take att of opportunity your self, but what about dodging so the miss hits another??

The pseudo-deflection is still an attack of opportunity I would say, as it is generated by the creature provoking, so it couldn't be combined with total defense.
