Okay, I've had this character concept of a cavalier styled PC who is actually a summoner riding his eidolon. Everything was peachy for the past week while I have been writing his back story, building his character sheet and imagining the role he would play.
Unfortunately I started making his eidolon today before the session begins for the first time and I see he has to be level 8 before his eidolon can take the "large evolution".
Since a mount has to be one size category larger than its rider and I have to play a human, is there anyway I can make this happen before level 8?! Our campaign goes at a very slow progression and level 8 may never even roll around.
I'm desperate and open to ideas. Right now, all I can think of is to play a human who is a little person, which I might end up doing, but are there any other suggestions?

Excellent ideas! Thank you.
I'm thinking I will permancy enlarge person my eidolon since I have the "share spells" class feature with him.
This will hopefully be a good option before level 8.
Until then, I Will just ride a horse and cast the spell before hand if there is an obvious attack on the horizon.

Is the character you are thinking of an adult because there is also the young template, which would effectively make you a smaller child.
Simply adding the young template will net you small size.
However young template is a -1 CR adjustment.
You could technically argue with your GM for the advanced template as well. It's cheesy, but technically legal.
