Druid equipment

Advice

New party I'm in has a guy who plans on craft wondrous item. Usually our method is that we put requests in a Wait list ...

So for a Druid concentrated on shape shifting, specifically Ape Shaman ... What would be interesting thematic items to request?

The Polymorphic Pouch from the Ultimate Equipment is a magical satchel/bag for Druids that wont shapeshift with you when you use Wildshape. So as an ape you'll still be able to access your inventory of potions, wands, and scrolls and other things. Since, hey, you have the thumbs to use them!

That's the Polymorphic Pouch

Definitely a good item.

War Paint of the Terrible Visage may not be amazingly powerful (DC 11 fear effect), but if you put it in your polymorphic pouch, you can apply it after you shift into a gorilla. Gorillas with face paint are awesome.

Zoic Fetish is also kind of weak, but very cool. I guess if you're in a wilderness campaign it might get some use.

If you have an animal companion, make sure you get Beast-Bond Brands. It's a very useful item and has a lot of flavor.

Well, Serpents skull, so I presume wilderness is in the offing.
