So my group may soon be playing the Serpent's Skull adventure path. No one really knows what they want to play as of yet. One guy is looking at a build based on throwing rocks at people that he found here. We typically have a 3 person party with about a 20-25 point buy for stats. I like a lot of builds and peruse the forums frequently. I can be pretty versatile in what I play and our group does tend to get a bit combat happy. I am just curious if you guys have any exciting ideas I could use for a new character. We stick to strictly pathfinder material and any race from the race guide is open provided we have a good back story.

Hmmm, so, you want something off the wall a bit?
Let's see.
A Tetori (Monk) is always fun, grappling people so they can be pelted with rocks sounds neat.
Oh, actually, the two new archetypes for Magus and Witch could be right up your alley. Play it as a sort of complement to your rock throwing buddy.
They're both based around Harrow cards, and throwing them, the Cartomancer (Witch) and Card Caster (Magus).
They both seem like they'd make REALLY good "bad touch" builds because the Card Caster is the first good ranged Magus (you can actually ranged Spellstrike, and it's not just limited to throwing cards either so you could do daggers, bows, and so on if you wanted), and the Cartomancer could debuff people at range (their card deck is their Familiar, and you still get Share Spells, sort of. You can deliver your spells via card throws within 30 feet).
It lets you fill the role of arcane caster, and be more of a finesse character as opposed to your brute force throwing friend. Could be pretty rad.

Honestly I haven't built one either, but I want to.
It would depend on which you're more interested in. I'd probably build the Witch as something of a standard Witch, Evil Eye, Misfortune, maybe the Flight Hex as well to keep you out of harm's way a lot of the time. Then simply pick your favorite debuff spells, even touch range ones (like Bestow Curse, always a classic) and chuck cards at people. Can also be used for emergency buffs.
The Magus could play a lot like an Arcane Archer, delivering stuff like Shocking Grasp through a playing card, dagger, or an arrow, dealing damage with a rider effect. You'd probably just build him as a standard archer or throwing character, but with magic.

So since you mentioned these I literally drove to a Hastings and purchased both the Harrow Handbook and a Deluxe Harrow Deck. I am thinking I like the idea of a witch who seems to know most everything before it happens due to the harrow. I even want to try to incorporate using the deck regularly as well. Any good advice?

Well, the Witch list includes quite a few divination spells you can use, including Harrowing so you could get a lot of mileage out of being an honest to gods fortune teller if you so chose.
There's a bunch of Hexes and stuff that can help you with knowing everything that's coming (like Hag's Eye) as well.
Everything other than that is RP, the easiest (and maybe most fun as well) route being playing up the stereotypical mysterious Gypsy fortune teller schtick.
