Hello, fellow forum-browsers!
Was wondering how effective a character who combined some reliable form of Swift-Action Healing with the Deathless Initiate/Zealot/Master might be. I was thinking possibly a Fey Foundling Paladin, but am not sure how to arrange feats/stats, as I rarely play Paladins. Any thoughts?

I think a couple levels of Oracle would be pretty fun for this. Like, you're so devoted to your allies that you keep giving your HP to them to the point where a normal person would die. Combined with Barbarian for Raging Vitality and you have a pretty neato character imo.
You could also skip the whole feat chain business by taking the Never Stop Shooting trait.

The problem is that they don't synergize well. You get all the nifty bonuses when below 0, but even with Deathless Zealot you only get a "meh" power when above 0. And that's for a LOT of feats. A paladin (especially a fey foundling) is only going to be below 0 for one round.
Diehard is as far as you need to go with a fey foundling paladin. You are staggered when below 0 but one swift action later, you are A-OK. The best use of these feats is for a fighter or -especially- a barbarian who cannot heal him or herself.

If you really want to take advantage of Deathless Initiate, Pain Taster might be an option as you are continually eating your own health with Masochism anyways.
If you can get the alignment issues wavered, a Paladin/Pain Taster sounds like a super fun idea, role-playing wise. Like a holy flagellant kind of character.
Alternatively you could dump Con and hurt yourself below 0 every day in order to benefit from the Zealot bonus. Monk, Monk/Kensai, or Ninja would be really useful for AC and/or access to spells like Mage Armour and Mirror Image. Obviously not the most secure idea but it could be a lot of fun.

Really, the Zealot bonus is just.. Not worth it, IMO.
I've done the Deathless tree with a LOT of fighters. The Orc Fighter is my go-to Fighter, simply because I like laughing at the dragon that stepped on me and thought me squished. Though, I may switch to half-orc now that the FAQ says half-orcs can take orc racial feats, archetypes, favored class bonuses, etc....
Really though... It's just... Not worth it. Zealot's feat slot could go to something infinitely more useful... Like Godless Healing. Or, if you've got a DM that works that way, Fast Healer with Boots of the Earth.

Yeah, after a bit of thinking, I've found that Zealot, and for this, even Master aren't really worth it. I'd still like to try Deathless Initiate, so that I have the freedom of using LoH at the end of my turn to get the +2 Damage. I've been thinking about a feat arrangement like this:
1:Enduracne[Half-Orc Bonus]
1:Fey Foundling
3:Die Hard
5:Power Attack
7:Deathless Initiate
9:Greater Mercy
11+????
Any thoughts?
