There's some lack of clarity to this archetype it seems.
At 1st level, 2nd level, and every four levels thereafter, a master of many styles may select a bonus style feat or the Elemental Fist feat. He does not have to meet the prerequisites of that feat, except the Elemental Fist feat. Alternatively, a master of many styles may choose a feat in that style’s feat path (such as Earth Child Topple) as one of these bonus feats if he already has the appropriate style feat (such as Earth Child Style). The master of many styles does not need to meet any other prerequisite of the feat in the style’s feat path.
My understanding is that the Master of Many Styles CAN ignore the prerequisites of the Elemental Fist feat, but cannot ignore Elemental Fist as a prerequisite.
This makes the most sense to me, since otherwise you have access to Djinn/Shaitan/Efreet/Marid Style, but can't use them until level 11 (and what's really the point of having Elemental Fist as a bonus feat option if you don't ignore those prereqs).

"He does not have to meet the prerequisites of that feat, except the Elemental Fist feat"
To me it reads you don't have to meet the prerequisites unless it's the Elemental Fist feat, you can take the Elemental Fist feat without meeting the prerequisites but not any feat that has it as a prerequisite unless you actually have it. It seems pretty clear to me.

I read it as he needs elemental fist if he wants to get style feats with a prerequisite of elemental fist. He is given no way to get elemental fist early.
That's how I interpreted it as well but considering how it's written it could work either way.
I need to recheck but if you can't get early access to Elemental Fist you have no real way of being able to get all the Elemental styles+ Dragon style, which is the real appeal of MoMS until I realized he didn't have enough feats.
Actually no, you don't have many ways around it either way.

Even if you read MoMS as not waiving the prerequisites for Elemental Fist, a MoMS monk who took Dragon Style and Dragon Ferocity at levels 1 and 2 could take Elemental Fist as his character level 3 feat, since Dragon Ferocity waives the prereqs, and then take an elemental style as his 4th level monk feat.

huh! I'm with Petty Alchemy on this one. I read that as you had to get elemental fist before you took any feat with EF as a pre-req. I didn't even consider that it meant you couldn't get EF. It makes sense that you can't have Djinni Style without EF.
On re-reading it, I suppose you could make an argument for either interpretation, but making you wait for EF in context of this archetype makes little sense.

That is one ambiguous wording.
RAI to me pretty clear they ment "except if the requirement is Elemental Fist feat", not "except you chose Elemental Fist option from previous sentence", because many of those feats enhancing EF or giving you additinal uses of EF, so it does not make sense to have them without EF (and probably to prevent abusisve players claiming they can "use Elemental Fist 2 additional times per day so i can use Elemental Fist 2 times without having Elemental Fist feat itself"
