Stone Curse (Su)
At 18th level, a shaitan binder may select stone curse as a 4-point evolution. This allows the eidolon to trap creatures in stone like the shaitan stone curse ability. The DC to resist or break free of the stone curse is 10 + 1/2 the eidolon's Hit Dice + the eidolon's Strength score.
This ability replaces greater aspect.
This should be 10+1/2HD+Strength mod correct?
I realized as I was typing this that it only comes into effect at 18th level but that is too high of a DC for an ability correct?

Genies have been known as consummate tempters!
Seems perfect instead of ultimate power from 1st like other summoners, you kinda suck till 18th THEN get ultimate power.. decisions, decisions.
For those who love the archetype like me though its just free candy and a reward for stubborn fortitude! (unless the DM allows other summoners retraining in which case flip the table and storm out)

It should probably be strength modifier, I don't know of any DC that uses the actual score instead of the modifier. Seems like an obvious mistake.
Even with using strength mod, it can still be a decent DC. I'm not that familiar with building eidolon's, but I bet a 30 strength (+10 mod) is relatively easy to get. That would give you a DC 27 at level 18, which is a solid DC.
If it really were strength score, it would be a DC 47, which would probably be impossible to save against for anyone unless they rolled a natural 20, which means it's probably not right.
