Level 4 reach cleric shopping in ROTRL

Hey folks, I am a new player and could use some help deciding what kind of gear to buy. We are just starting Skinsaw Murders, I have about 2700gp to spend or save. Atm I have no scrolls, am planning on getting a few restoration and other emergency/situational scrolls. I currently am using a mw cold iron longspear with a plain greatsword as backup as a cleric of Gorum.

Strength/Destruction domains, have combat reflexes/improved initiative/power attack as feats. I have +1 breastplate and ring of protection +1. I was thinking about getting a +1 greatsword for Enlarge use, getting acid/electric enchant later and then working on defenses again, or maybe ioun stone with +1 initiative and cloak of resistance +1 and maybe save the rest?

I'm thinking about investing in a Shield wand for the arcane to hit me with perhaps? Maybe I should keep working on defense first or get the +1 greatsword, or maybe a couple lvl 1 pearls of power to cover buff use? Too many options, I'm a noob any ideas help thanks!

I'm actually DM'ing ROTR in about an hour lol.

Shield is a Personal Range spell, so a Wand won't work.

My personal advice would be Cracked Dusty Rose Prism (as long as you have no other competence bonus to initiative) for 500, a Cloak of Resistance +1 for 1000 (I'm assuming that sense you are looking at a Cloak of Resistance you didn't get the Sihedron medallion), and a Quick Runners Shirt for 1000.

I advise against the quick runner shirt. Unless your hard pressed to buy one. I hardly ever.

Wand of shield sucks having 1 minute. Plus it is personal.

Why have 2 weapons a spear and a greatsword. Seems like a waste of money. Pick 1.

I would avoid electric or acid. Go with +1 weapon. Use greater magic weapon to get more pluses. @ around 9 get giant bane. At later levels holy. Make it +1 holy giant bane. you will do super well with that weapon.

Spend the last 700g on consumables and scrolls. I recommend EVERY person getting a potion of remove blindness. Keep one or 2 as it seems blindness runs rampant book 3+.

Deathward will serve you well levels 8+ have a scroll or 2 would be nice.
