Hi there guys. I have a question regarding the teamwork feat Feint Partner. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated!
Feint Partner
Benefit: Whenever an ally who also has this feat successfully feints an opponent, that opponent also loses his Dexterity bonus to AC against the next attack you make against him before the end of the feinting ally’s next turn.
Here's the scenario. An ally with Feint Partner adjacent to an enemy successfully feints him. Now it's my turn and I'm a rogue with Feint Partner. I'm within 30ft to the enemy and make a ranged attack at the feinted enemy. Does the enemy lose his dex bonus to my attack thus enabling me to sneak attack him?
Feint Partner notes that my next attack denies his dex bonus. This would lead me to assume that this is both melee and ranged attacks
Much thanks and appreciation to any who help!
Hope to see you some of you at the upcoming PaizoCon (:

Well, the feat doesn't say that you need to be adjacent to your ally to function, so the fact that you're adjacent shouldn't matter.
This is an interesting question because the default action (feint) specifically works for melee attacks.
The teamwork feat, however, does not say that you "also feint your opponent." It just states that your target is denied its Dexterity bonus against your next attack.
I'd have to personally rule that, yes, ranged characters who have melee buddies who are willing to feint for them benefit from this feat. The ability does not specify that what types of attacks it applies to and it does not imply that the usual benefits and restrictions of the feint action apply to you.
It should be noted that ranged characters couldn't benefit from Improved Feint Partner unless they had a way to make attacks of opportunity with ranged weapons, such as the Snap Shot feat.

Alright! That's what I was thinking. Now another question. Is the enemy denied his dex bonus for my full attack or just one attack? I understand the feat says
"loses his Dexterity bonus to AC against the next attack you make against him"
but I just want to clarify if that attack is single or inclusive of all my attacks for the round he is denied his dexterity bonus
