I don't know if it'll post in the corner there, but I am a 1 star GM.
I liked pathfinder society and thought I would give it a try GMing to learn the rules a bit better.
I selected the free RPG Module Master of the Fallen Fortress, and have GM's Crypt of the Everflame once. I know, I know.
Buncha Muncha Cruncha.
Resulting in 10 GM points
Since master of the fallen fortress is repeatable for a lvl 1 character,
I applied 3 master of the fallen fortress credits to my new level 1 ranger.
Making him level 2
And then one crypt of the everflame credit - making him level 3.
I have since leveled him up through playing to level 5.2.
In other words, one chronicle away from level 6.
Since I've been playing, It's come across the table that you cannot stack chronicles of Master of the fallen fortress.
Which now kinda makes sense seeing as you cant stack any adventure without using GM stars,
But this Character's initial level was granted with 3 installments of Moff gm credit.
How do I rectify this? ret-con? re-roll?
I do not want to burn a use of the GM star I have.
Even if I ret-con - the loss of 2 out of the 3 chronicles of MOFF would still return me to just reaching 5th level.
Which would be fine with me - seeing as there is a boon I want from the quest for perfection.
But how would i fix this? roll this back?
1. Do I need to?
2. Does anybody really care? I mean will my character need to survive the Mola-Ram "Kali Ma... Kali Ma... Kali Ma Shakti de" chronicle sheet purity test ritual that I will somehow need to when it comes by surprise at some game or convention?
3. If I need to - how do I do it?
4. What options do I have to go about doing it?

Put it this way. Its an Illegal act, because no character can receieve a chronicle sheet for the same game twice.
What I would do.. and this is just me. Id go to my local VC and explain what I did. Obviously nobody has taken a look via an audit at this part of your character.
As long as your games are all reported it would then be a case of getting the VC to sign off on all freshly reprinted new chronicle sheets. (as obviously it would be nigh impossible to find all those other gms to get it done). Whatever you do .. do not make changes to existing sheets
A) They will already have writing on them
B) Its a significant change.

Echoing Matthew's suggestion, I'd talk to a VO and see what can be done.
One point, though:
I do not want to burn a use of the GM star I have.
GM-star replays don't allow you put the same chronicle on a character twice. They allow you to get another play or GM chronicle on a different character.

I haven't made any changes to any sheets. I'm not talking about fudging anything.
I mean this is all in a fictional universe where we "agree" to all follow these "rules"
I do so for the challenge
I just noticed after a game that my Newness to it all rubbed off on me
and I may be playing a lark character.
Which isn't fitting with my desires to "remain challenged by operating in a set of parameters" that I currently agree with.
Honestly It would have been easy to just shut up about it and continue to enjoy the game.
After all its just a game.
But I thought, hey why not fix it while I'm at it? See what's involved.
I don't know why but your response sounds something akin to confession
or atonement, lol -character audit?
Are there character tax refunds as well?
Sorry, I appreciate your willingness to answer,
Maybe I'm reading it wrong.
I'd imagine it be a simple measure of removing some gold and some boons or something, or maybe I don't know, something less, end-of-the-world?

I applied 3 master of the fallen fortress credits to my new level 1 ranger.
---->> Becomes 1 moff on pfs number ######-1. 1 moff on pfs number #####-2. And 1 moff on pfs number #######-3.
And then one crypt of the everflame credit - making him levels ---->level 2 and 1/3.
I have since leveled him up through playing to level 5.2.: Go through and see if you could play in all of those games legally. If you were playing in 1-5s it shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks,
As far as I understood when I GM'd it
Replaying Master of the Fallen Fortress and Crypte of the everflame is just like
First steps : Intro to lore
It is a legally repeatable scenario
But unlike First steps - they are both modules.
For lvl 1 characters - Master of the Fallen Fortress is Repeatable infinitum for a level 1 character and ONCE as a lvl 2 character.
The same with Crypt of the Everflame
Repeatable ad nauseum for a level 1 character, and ONCE for level 2 character (even though one play through will level you from level 1 to level 2)
These are modules, not scenarios and were specifically selected by me for their low/intro level status, and their re-playability/re-creditablity for both the GM AND the players,
which gave me enough incentive to learn the game system, prepare to Gm, and transfer/convert the whole thing to roll20.net, and then learn roll 20.
If I was going to do all that, I wanted it to be usable MORE THAN ONCE.
Thanks BigNorseWolf,
You have specifically reminded me two things
1. That MOFF and Crypt of the everflame are modules
2. And to look them up as the reason I specifically chose them is that they were society specific repeatable modules, allowing me to game for anyone and not have to gather a crowd of people who "never played it before." Instead I could gather anyone new or old players who wanted to level up a new character, and get credit.

I looked back and referenced all my chronicle sheets,
It looks Like even regressing to 2 and 1/3 rds level with GM credit,
I'd be legal for all the scenarios/modules I've played in.
That's good news, so it looks like your character will only drop from 14XP to 12XP, so still 5th-level. He would also lose 2 prestige and 1000 gp from the two removed chronicle sheets.
To be totally compliant, you should also check to see if there are any chronicles where you got the wrong amount of gold. For example, maybe you played a scenario at subtier 4-5 when your PC was 4th-level, and got the full gold reward. On review, your PC actually should have been 3rd-level at the time, and therefore only got the 'out-of-subtier' gold.*
I suggest you look through to see if this is the case, with maybe a VO or other experienced PFS player/GM to check your working.
I would put a note on your most recent chronicle saying:
'2 chronicles assigned at 1st-level illegally and now removed. Reduced PC by 2 XP, 2 PP, XXXX gp.'
where XXXX is the 1000 from the 2 MotFF chronicles, plus any extra gold that needs to be removed as described above. Then mention it to your next GM so they know why the numbers on your chronicles look funny.
* This is assuming that this happened in season 5...

Sorry to derail, but I have a similar, yet easier to remedy, situation. I thought I'd ask here instead of starting my own thread, since it is similar.
I'm just getting back into PFS after an absence of about 6+ months, and I noticed a problem while auditing my characters to remind myself of all the details.
Roughly 2 years ago, I GMed a scenario and applied the GM credit to a new level 1 character, using subtier 1-2 rewards, of course. About a year later, that character was level 4, and I played the same scenario using that PC, because I had forgotten that this PC already had the GM credit for that scenario. If I'd remembered that, I would have played a different PC that day in that scenario. This is the down side of having over a dozen PCs.
Luckily, that was the last time I used that PC, so there's no issue of everything else that happened since the illegal chronicle, as with the original poster in this thread. The illegal chronicle is the last one I have for that character.
Obviously, the second chronicle for that scenario can't be applied to this character. So what do I do with it? I'm thinking there are these possibilities:
1. Apply the chronicle to a different character than the one I actually played that day, as if I'd been playing a pregen. I'm pretty sure this isn't a valid option, but I thought I'd mention the possibility, just in case.
2. Throw out the chronicle from playing the scenario with that character, in which case it counts as me never having played this scenario, and I can play it again in the future with a different PC.
3. Throw out the chronicle from playing the scenario with that character, but since I did play the scenario in Society play, I'm not allowed to play it again in the future (unless I use my GM stars to do so).
So which is it?

So which is it?
I'm sorry to say that I think it's 3 (sort of).
You aren't entitled to get the credit on this PC as you've already got that chronicle assigned to him previously. But you're only ever entitled to a player chronicle the first time you play a scenario, so you can't play it for credit on any of your other PCs either.
I suggest you keep the chronicle in the stack, but with the XP/PP/gp/boon rewards all zeroed, as the closest situation covered by the rules is replaying for no credit.

Ok, so what I did was this.
1. I looked at all my chronicle sheets.
2. I subtracted two of the three Master of the Fallen Fortress Sheets
3. After the subtraction of the two sheets, I reviewed the chronicles to see If I was still legal for every game I played in following that.
4. I was.
5. Now that I was legal to play. I re-estimated the level of my character for each game.
6. Using the re-estimated levels for each chronicle. I readjusted the gold for each scenario, subtracting the two 479 golf for Moff, and lowering the tier rewards for other chronicles.
Resulting in a difference of 1816 gold. and a loss of 2pp and 2 fame.

Also,
I believe Master of The Fallen Fortress is a Module
And Crypt of the Everflame is a Module
And acoodring to the Pathfinder Society Rules
It's repeatable - allowing multiple chronicles
But I understand now over different characters. I believe this may have been the source of the problem.
And Then I found this post:

Scenarios that can be replayed:
Intro 1: First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore
#5–08: The Confirmation
Modules/APs that can be replayed:
We be Goblins!
Master of the Fallen Fortress
Crypt of the Everflame

I couldn't find a consolidated current list with a quick search either...
But if None of this is correct, then what does the word repeatable mean in this instance?

But if None of this is correct, then what does the word repeatable mean in this instance?
'Repeatable' means that you can replay the scenario/module for credit at all, but there are still some restrictions on which characters can get that credit.
Tier 1-2 scenarios and modules can be replayed as many times as you like with 1st-level characters (and once with 2nd-level characters), with the PC getting a chronicle each time. The GM credit rules mirror this (infinite 1st-level credit, 2nd-level credit once). However, each character can still only get credit for a particular scenario/module once.
So, you could play MotFF 9 times, but you would need to give the credit to 9 different characters. You couldn't give three of your characters 3 XP each (as you have already learned).
I think the only addition to my list of tier 1-2 material that you've quoted above is the first part of the Mummy's Mask adventure path. I suspect the first level of the Emerald Spire will also be sanctioned at tier 1-2.
