You are skilled at making deadly attacks from an extreme distance.
Prerequisites: Int 13, Wis 13, Far Shot, Focused Shot, Point-Blank Shot, Precise Shot.
Benefit: As a full-round action, you may make an attack that allows you to deal precision-based extra damage to a distance equal to your weapon’s range increment. You may only make this attack with bows and crossbows. Precision-based damage includes sneak attacks, a ranger's favored weapon bonus, and the damage bonus from the Focused Shot feat. Creatures immune to critical hits and sneak attacks are immune to this extra damage.
Okay, so I have two questions and I have read other threads regarding this feat but I didn't find my answers.
First Question: Is the +1 bonus from Point-Blank precision-based?
Second Question: Does this feat allow you to add the bonus from Point-Blank Shot from the distance equal to your weapon's range increment?
My reasoning for asking this question is that it allows the bonuses from both Sneak Attack and Focused Shot, and both of those require you to be 30 ft. away from your target and so does Point-Blank Shot, so is that included in this feat?
EDIT: Also does the fact that you have to be within 30 ft. to gain the bonus define precision-based bonuses? If not, then what does? In other words, could somebody define "Precision-Based Bonuses"

does point blank shot give a type? (the answer is no so it's untyped)
the feat lets you do things that require range within your first range increment. IE rather than sneak attack at only 30ft, now you can sneak attack within the first range increment of say a longbow, or a Rifle, etc... including after doing things to increase that range increment.
Remember though, you're only allowed a single attack as that full round action. So at the point you're diong this, you're sacrificing 2 or more shots for one with the precision based damage.

Where is this feat from? I've never seen it but I love it.
I don't think point blank shot )(PBS) would apply. It's an untyped bonus to damage, not precision based. Granted precision based damage is kind of undefined in this system, but it's typically labeled as such at least.
PBS still works agianst things that ignore precision based damage, so I dont think it would.
In a home game it'd be pretty resonable to allow it to work. but by reverse there are a lot of occasions where pbs wouldn't work.
If I were a gm and it was brought up. I'd allow at incriment even w/out it being precision damage; because that flavor fits so well with it really.
But to exact answer
no and no.
Precision based damage isn't well defined, basically only if the skill, feat, weapon, class ability etc specifically says precision based does it count as precision based. It's not a matter of distance (though most abilities are either melee or w/in 30ft)
There are several class abilities that are precision based but doesn't allow for the same immunities. It's all pretty illdefined over all.
but basically each entry will say "this is precision based damage" and typically will list if things immunie to crit hits is immune or not.
