Thank you for the quick response to this and the last question I posted. I keep telling my friends this is my new favorite game. It's exciting to see where it's going and to be able to communicate with the designers.
I know, right? What better support is there than having a question about a product and being able to get an answer from the people that designed it? And so often in only a matter of minutes. Quite excellent.
I appreciate that these positive comments are in a thread about a screwup we failed to notice for nine months after the game was released.
Its so true though Mike. While I am sure many of these "screwups" that have been addressed irk you and your team, I think that most of us that play the game realize that in some ways this type of thing was bound to occur as the system was being created and honed with additional releases.
Take Magic for example... if you look at cards from Alpha and Beta they are not nearly as honed as ones released in later years. Clarification gets made, rulings are made... and the product becomes more streamlined and easier to understand.
The amazing thing to me is that, while you guys have provided clarification for nearly every circumstance that has been brought up, it is very easy to play the game and realize what the intent was and to just play it that way. Very few, if any, of the so called issues have been really game changing and the game has not become even remotely close to broken by anything that needed to be addressed. If somebody picked up the game and didn't realize a faq existed, they can play the game remarkably close to as intended without that knowledge.
I can't speak for all obviously, but I love this game, and I am very excited for its future and look forward to everything that is coming. So... your team is very much appreciated. Questions get answered quickly whether its a big issue or a small one... by the designer himself no less! Its very clear that Lone Shark and Paizo are as excited to continue to produce and support this product as much as we all are excited to consume it. Its marriage made in heaven.
