Can I have a Ring of Natural Armor +1 in Society play?

I have the fame to be allowed to buy the Amulet but 1) does changing it to a ring increase its price and 2) is alt-slotting allowed in society play?

1) It would.
2) No custom items allowed iN PFS, so no ring of natural armor.

Note that a ring of protection +1 costs the same as an amulet of natural armor +1, and gives the same +1 to your AC.

Note: there are some alt-slotted items for society play, but they have to be on the chronicle sheet.

There is one for the AoNA, Think it's a bracelet in the bracer slot (so still no for monks).

Why would it? The price of a magic item doesn't depend on the slot it uses.

But anyway, as was already mentioned, alt-slotting isn't allowed in PFS. You can only buy the items as they appear in legal sources.

I'm not sure which ones you're referring to off hand, but if said items you're referring to are ones from the 3.5 system, then those items are not allowed, and instead should be replaced with the Pathfinder equivalent. (I believe the example was Bracers of Strength -> Belt of Giant Strength)

He means bracers of armor.

I was hoping to get the nat armor bonus and deflection bonus, since the bracers of armor are an armor bonus that don't stack with normal armor.

Custom items are not available in PFS, generally. You have to go with something in print. So, no Bracers of Protection +1 or Rings of Armor +1.

A ring of protection +1 gives bonus to your touch AC. Natural Armor doesn't. Go with the ring.

Thanks! Now I'll just put my Amulet of Mighty Fists on and we'll be away!

There are always choices.

Qui Gong monk, with the substitution allowing you to cast Barkskin on yourself, for the win.

Or, simply, a stock of potions, scrolls, or a wand for someone to use on you, including yourself with UMD...

As kinevon pointed out - that's why every well built unarmed monk goes Qui Gong monk.

Qui Gong monk was basically a patch to make monks better. (though even a base monk in Pathfinder is still way better than the 3.5 monk - only thing that was for was a solid 2 level dip)

Do you know what session? I have a natural attack rogue buddy of mine who'd be interested in getting that.
