If I were to take the following trait:

Signature Spell
You have learned a mystical secret that empowers your spellcasting.

Benefit: Pick one spell when you choose this trait—from this point on, whenever you cast that spell, you do so at +1 caster level.

and use it on Summon Nature's Ally, could I at Level 1 take the two feats Augment Aummoning and Spell:Focus Conjuration? This will allow me to summon as if I was a higher level, plus the stat bonus from Augment Summoning? Seems to be a good match

Yes, that will let your summons be a bit more useful for the first few levels.

Liberty's Edge

All the +1 caster level will do for you is extend the duration by a round. I wouldn't waste a trait on a spell that's going to be eclipsed after the first few levels.

I see...thanks guys! I took the Feral Child Archetype, and it gets rid of Wild Shape, so I'm looking to try and make this Druid a Monk-ish mobile flanker with his companion, a ranged attacker or a buff specialist. I took the trait that allows any Str, Dex, or Con skill as a Wis skill, so I took Stealth. Also, with Improved Unarmed Strike as a free feat I might tailor him to a melee fighter. Thoughts?

At first level, a club enhanced by the spell shilleighle (I can never spell that word) is a much better weapon than unarmed strike. Also, the Growth domain will let you enlarge yourself.
