Advanced Class Guide and arch types?

Advice

Shadow Lodge

Are there any alternate archtypes that work with these new classes? If there are, where are the rules to explain this?

I know my chances of succeeding on this are between abominable and abysmal but, at least I'd thought I'd ask. I am hoping to have tattooed sorcerer mixed with Arcanist.

Not really clear on your question, but I will give it a shot.

First, the playtest limitation on multiclassing a "hybrid" class with a "parent" class is being removed in the final version.

So, an Arcanist (wizard/sorcerer) WILL be able to multiclass with Sorcerer.

There are archetypes in the book, both for older classes, and for the new classes.

Archetypes only affect that class, so Tattooed Sorcerer changes your Sorcerer levels, but has no effect on your Arcanist levels.

So.....I hope I got you covered with that.

There will be archetypes for the classes in the release book, but there are none in the playtest versions. Also, with the release of the book , the restriction banning multiclassing with parent classes is being dropped.
