I have to admit that I think it would be great to be able to use a skill like climb to bypass some obstacles. Instead of smashing your way through the defended pass because you and all of your pals are in heavy armor, a small group of lightly armored skilled climbers could scale the ridge and sneak into the goblin keep.

Plus the added bonus of climbing any mountain because it is there.

I agree the county a hero is going around is very much a part of a lot of stories, like The Neck in Game of Thornes (Big swamp) Lord of the rings has a bunch like the Misty mountains and Moira, pick a story and there is some impassable area the hero has to go around, under or over.

What role if any has the numbers of worshiper is a God in game have as an effect on the power they can draw from?

If god X has 200 followers dose the cleric of god X get 200 spell points for the day or dose he share that with the other clerics of god X?

This would be interesting to pull off in a game.

Yep, already done with no reply so far, so I'm wondering if teribithia is away or some such. Various Keepers have so far been unsuccessful in getting in touch with anyone at the settlement.

You can always talk to me! I have a 6 person guild (Northern Lights) and will add two more persons just as soon as they can afford to get in. I know 8 isn't many, just a starting point.

I'd certainly be happy to do so, as it's a settlement-wide matter rather than something specific to the Marshwardens. We have a post in the Embassy section of the Hammerfall GuildLaunch site, but if there's a more appropriate place for settlement discussion we can move there. We can also host the discussions at the Keeper site. It's likely internally sensitive to some degree, so perhaps not something you might want in your public forums. If you could gather the relevant folks, or at least point them our way, that would be greatly appreciated.
