Hi,
I recently purchased the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Rise of the Runelords base set and the character add on-deck. Much to my surprise, the cards from the character add-on deck have much different coloring than the base set. It's so different that it makes the game kind of unfair and I find myself wanting to remove these cards. I very much want to buy more adventure decks, but I really don't want to be in the same situation as this, since each deck is ~$20, making the rest of the cards be ~$100. For this price, the cards should match and be indistinguishable from one another. How can I get a replacement character add-on deck that will match my base set and how can I be sure to get matching adventure decks in the future? I don't want to go the sleeve route, since they will no longer fit in the box, especially after getting all expansions.
Thank you!

Hello!
This sounds like it is probably related to the differences between the 1st Printing (done in China) and the 2nd Printing (done in the US). Our Chief Technical Officer, Viz Wertz, made an informative post about this topic here:

I understand that there were cards printed in different locations, but that doesn't change the fact that my cards are WAY different color and it's unacceptable to have to play like this. I paid just like everyone else and I should be given a quality product. I would think with such a successful product, Paizo could make good on the customers that have shelled out a lot of money for their product and WANT to continue purchasing the expansions. Paying what I did, I should not have to rely on different methods to shuffle my cards just because Paizo wanted to save money by printing in China, nor should I have to make myself close my eyes when shuffling because I can see a difference in colors. Is there any way to get this issue taken care of to satisfy a paying customer?

If your cards are drastically different, and you think it is potentially a misprint or more serious color error, please feel free to send some pictures to us at customer.service@paizo.com and we can investigate the matter further.
Thanks!
