The wearer of a robe of arcane heritage treats his sorcerer level as 4 higher than normal for the purpose of determining what bloodline powers he can use and their effects. My question is, when a sorcerer uses a spell-like ability granted by his bloodline, does he treat his caster level for that ability as 4 higher?
For example: a 10th-level sorcerer with the aberrant bloodline, wearing a robe of arcane heritage, utilizes the "acidic ray" spell-like ability. Is his caster level 10 or 14? While caster level doesn't effect the acidic ray's range, damage, or other variables, it is important if the sorcerer needs to make a caster level check to overcome spell resistance.
Based purely on wording, I'm leaning towards yes, the robe boosts caster level for bloodline spell-like abilities. But I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Thanks!
