So this is my dwarf for a RotRl game. We have a regular bard, an archaelogist bard, a sorcerer, a life oracle, a magus that's going shield and bardiche, & a drunken brawling barbarian.
Originally, my character has an axe and a shield, and I'm right up to the point of having to choose combat style. Considering we already have a character with a shield, and I have the highest strength (and best likelihood for high damage) of the entire party, I don't know if it's smart to go axe and shield route, or if I should go for a two handed weapon.
Thoughts? And if I were to go two-handed weapon, what weapon would you suggest?

You're a dwarf son! Your weapon should be a bloody huge axe of course!
Here's what I have planned for Kror in RotRL:
Dungeon Rover Ranger 7 / Skyseeker 10
1 Power Attack
2 Cleave
3 Big Game Hunter
5 Goblin Cleaver
6 Great Cleave
7 Orc Hewer
9 Steel Soul
11 Cleave Through
13 Strike Back
15 Giant Killer
17 Cleaving Finish
You can do Axe & Shield instead; which means you want to go with Two-Weapon Fighting combat style instead, so that you can get the TWF/ITWF/GTWF feats without having the super high Dex that you need. You could go Sword & Shield style, and get Shield Master early (and maybe skip Shield Slam), but now you'll need to have the high Dex for ITWF & GTWF, which is downright un-dwarfy.

Go with an Ogre Hook instead of the Bloody huge axe and all the other stuff Kror listed. I love the idea of using a giant's type of weapon to kill them. I would maybe look to do a switch-hitter though...something with a few ranged feats to make that an option while at a distance. There are some good encounters at range throughout the path and having a decent option for it is good.
