Warpriest Spontanious Cure and swift action casting prepared spells

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

So Good aligned Warpriests have the cleric ability to spontaneously cast Cure spells. Additionally Warpriests with the Healing Blessing have the ability to cast Prepared Cure Spells on themselves as a swift action.

So, can a Good aligned Warpriest spontaneously cast a Cure spell as a swift action by converting say Bless into Cure Light Wounds?

Should work fine. The result is a swift action to heal himself, regardless of which spell is crossed off the prepared list.

No. It says "prepared" for a reason, and spontaneous casting doesn't make a cure spell suddenly count as prepared. Spontaneous casting is specifically for "healing spells that he did not prepare ahead of time".

Healing Blessing's Minor Power:
Quote:
Selfish Healer (minor): At 1st level, as a swift action you can cast a prepared cure spell on yourself. This counts as a quickened spell for your turn, and doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity.

Spontaneous Casting:
Quote:
Spontaneous Casting: A good warpriest (or a neutral warpriest of a good deity) can channel stored spell energy into healing spells that he did not prepare ahead of time.
