Release Schedule for Shackles ?

First Time Poster: want to start off with a few thoughts about the game and appreciations before I get into my questions / thoughts.

My game group and I are focused mainly on board games and have tried Star Wars RPG some, but not every member is into the RPG time commitment.

My friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed this game as we have made around 3 characters each now. ( 3 player groups ) up through act IV as we call it, or the hook mountain massacre. Okay on to the question.

I was curious as to what was planned as far as a release schedule for the upcoming series late this summer. Should we expect monthly releases which appear to be currently planned? I've read quite a few times that the releases previously were bi-monthly but I've just gotten into this game so I didn't really have to wait for much content till now. Any light on this would be great! Thanks

Welcome to PACG!

Rise of the Runelords was (and with 1 release to go still is) being released bi-monthly. But with the popularity, they are going to a monthly release cycle starting with Skull and Shackles. It is mentioned in the last paragraph of this announcement.

It seems the plan is to have a new base set in August and monthly deck releases after that.

Organized Play will also be launching at that time as well. There will be 7 character decks released to support that effort. As part of this program, it sounds like 4 to 5 additional scenarios will be made available month as PDFs. We are awaiting additional details for the new Organized Play offering.

My friend Hawkmoon I believe meant it is being released BI-monthly, that is every two months. Sins of Saviors was just released, and I think deck 6 is supposed to come out in June. I myself am still waiting on my copy, but have been told by Amazon May 8-10. With the level of popularity I don't realistically expect to see a deck 6 copy until early July.

As long as I get it before KantCon I'll be happy. I intend on bringing the full and complete game and powering through as many of the Adventure Decks as I can with whoever wants to try it out with me!

Thanks for the responses! I see the release schedule on the announcement post now. The organized play seems interesting! Sounds like this game is gathering a lot of attention.
