Craft Monkey: Races

Due to the setting my GM is using, no player is allowed to play dwarf.

And I'm trying to build an item crafter.

So which race comes second for crafting or are we at the point where it doesn't matter? Is there a way to grab that kick-ass favoured class option on a different race?

humans are a good alternate to a dwarf. extra skill points, and the extra feat allows you to open up that feat slot for your crafting at level 3,5, or 9.

other then that i dont think they have a core race that is more focused on crafting, except maybe elf. Elves are the go to race for wizards.

Duergar get a bonus to the crafting roll, but they're extinct.
