Curious - the odd phrasing of the Brutal Bloodline's Arcana - "Whenever you cast a spell that deals hit point damage, one target of your choice affected by the spell takes 2 additional hit points of damage." has me a bit flummoxed when it comes to spells that go across multiple rounds.
I know that for AOEs it only affects a single target, but what about a spell like Chill Touch? Would it only add 2 damage on the first attack which hits your designated target, or would it deal 2 extra damage for each attack that hits said target?

It's based on casting the spell, not when the effects happen. You still only do the extra 2 damage to one target, though I don't see why you wouldn't be able to add that 2 damage to, say, your third target instead of your first one.

You only cast a given spell once, no matter how many times it deals damage. You get 2 damage per spell, not 2 damage per damage source.
I'm thinking it works this way by RAW, but 2 points total damage is pretty small. Feels like a really weak trade for abyssal's first ability, and even weaker compared to an ability like draconic or orc bloodlines bloodline power.

The damage can't be dealt during the casting window because it doesn't have an original damage source to add on to until resolution.
That was my thinking. For something like Chill Touch, where "Each touch channels negative energy that deals 1d6 points of damage." I could see a valid argument that the 1d6 would change to 1d6+2. But only from the target designated at casting.
I do not think that it would do more than +2 for magic missile - no matter the # of missiles.
Frankly - the only other spell I can think of off the top of my head which would benefit enough to be beneficial over the Orc bloodline is "Elemenatal Touch".
