Hey All,
So I've decided to swap out the Pinnacle dungeon crawl in Forest of Spirits for
the ruby phoenix tournament. I'm going to have the NPCs crawl the dungeon while the party goes to the tournament to recover another heirloom weapon.
So has anyone created a cool one for their game? Or any advice? I wanting another Asian weapon, and thinking that something other than a sword would feel right (as they already have Suishen).
Any suggestions?
For my own game, I created a yari (spear) weapon that had diplomatic powers.
It was originally given away as a peace offering during a time of turmoil and ushered an age of peace and prosperity. Eventually it was lost to robbers and eventually found its way in the Ruby Phoenix's collection of rare/unique items.
It had the merciful weapon ability + when planted into the ground could create a sanctuary spell in addition to Zone of Truth and Calm Emotions. I think it could also cast Searing Light 3x/day.
Since we didn't have a scion of that particular family in the team, I didn't go any further in the powers' list.
