This seems like the kind of product someone with an abundance of wealth might buy.
I would expect something more like a d10, but with the "top" and "bottom" smooth, but still a corner between them.

Take any (even sided) die. Odd = 1, Even = 2
d3?
Take a d6. 1,2 = 1; 3,4 = 2; 5,6 = 3
Take a d12. 1-4 = 1; 5-8 = 2; 9-12 = 3
d4?
Take a d4. LOL
Take a d8. 1,2 = 1; 3,4 = 2; 5,6 = 3; 7,8 = 4
Take a d12. 1-3 = 1; 4-6 = 2; 7-9 = 3; 10-12 = 4
Take a d20. 1-5 = 1; 6-10 = 2; 11-15 = 3; 16-20 = 4
Of course there is always modular arithmetic as well.

Am I the only one here who likes weird dice? Is there no joy in your soul?
I'll let my individually purchased d3, d5, d7, d14 and d30, and my set of Zocchi dice speak for me, Ross. Not to mention my homemade-from-sculpey d2. :)
Does a D-Total allow me to qualify?

I have some d16s. And a bunch of dBodyPart d12s (head, chest, abdomen, groin, left arm, left hand, right arm, right hand, left leg, left foot, right leg, right foot) that are great to use for rolling hit location. No chart lookups!
Though, as many of you know:

The die or the printer to make it?
I have a one sided (Spherical) six sider that I bring out ever once in a while to torment my friends. :) It rattles so I imagine there is a weight inside with flat points for the weight to land on. I got it at a Con several years ago and they only had one. I'd love to get more. But then, a bunch of wibbly wobbly d6s on the table would drive people nuts!
