My latest character ambition, is to make a two character team of Dwarf something, and elf. Mythic rules 25 point buy starting at level 1 tier 1. The elf will be either a bard or a wizard. The dwarf wants to reclaim the axe of dwarvish lords and unite the dwarves of five kings and dwarves of the land of linnorm kings...and slay fahfneir. By of wiki I will need to assail the ancient magma dragon moschabbatt In his lair somewhere at the southern end of the five kings mountains. What do forum goers think I should build for this dwarf and elf to have a realistic chance of success?

Bump. Thinking dwarf conversion inquisitor want to wield a war axe. Short of multi class or wasting a feat is there a trait or deity that I could get? Still vacillating on the elf but I want something arcane that will stand up to high level dragon spellcasting. Can a magus contend with full casting? His daughter was sacrificed to daralaxylian or whatever his name is great wyrm red and wants to bury a sword in the dragon, so EK or Magus comes to mind. If not I thought evoker that plays like an arcane machine gun with lots of bullets I.e. spells, school power usage and wild arcana.

I would go with a Stonelord Paladin of Torag and a Ancient Lorekeeper Oracle. Stonelord is very thematic and is damn near unkillable, with the built in option to Stance Cycle. Oracle will be able to cover wizard like stuff with Mysteries and their bonus spells from the wizard list, while still being an effective combatant and healing.

Thanks. People rave about stonelord but looking it over I really fail to grasp why. I plan on being outside a lot so mobility is important, stonelord seems better when they can stand still. Lore oracle seems cool but spell scarred oracle did as well. Two divine casters like that could be neat, at the moment the elf is a evoker getting ready to dip a level of fighter and go EK. One of those oracles could be better though...a vengeful servant of calistria!

The thing about being a stonelord is they can stance cycle when they need to move. They get one mercy for lay on hands, which should always be remove fatigue. If you need to move, break the stance, swift action lay on hands to remove fatigue, and then reactivate the stance. They tend to have very high AC, very high DR, and immunity to critical hits, and swift action healing on top of that.
Also, if you have an arcane caster friend, have them cast floating disk, you stay in your stance on the disk, and they can move you, although this reduced your DR and Natural Armor.

If you are set on being a dwarf then I would go with straight Cleric. A tag team of Wizard and Cleric brings access to pretty much every spell in the game and adds an amazing mix of options to your group. With only two PC's you need as many options as possible.
As a group you ultimately have access to charms and compulsions, planar binding, planar ally and animate dead making you potentially a large adventuring group which will help significantly.
Also I definitely would not go Oracle as a dwarf, the Charisma penalty is a killer for any form of offensive spell casting.
