Once per day, you can sprout a pair of giant black crow’s wings, granting you a fly speed of 30 feet (average maneuverability). This spell-like ability otherwise functions as beast shape I (though you do not
gain any other benefits of that spell) with a caster level equal to your level.
Does this ability count as a third level arcane SLA for pre-reqs for feats and PrCs?

Well, let's see:
Spell-like ability? Check.
Based on a spell? Check. (Beast shape I.)
Level of that spell? 3rd.
Arcane? Check.
Seems to work for something like Eldritch Knight, though it doesn't really accomplish much since it requires you to be 5th level to take it. Well, I guess it gets you in before taking Wizard5, so it would save you 1 point of lost BAB. On a tengu EK.
Hooray?

Cool beans. I was fairly sure I was seeing it correctly.
I've several levels of swashbuckler before a level of Magus. It looks (to me)like this is a good way to combine those.
You would still need at least 2 levels of Magus for Spellstrike. You also will have no growth of your Arcane pool or any Arcana. Not sure the difference between full BAB and 3/4 BAB is worth it, especially when you are loosing yet another CL for your already behind Magus.
