Tiefling Bloodrager Natural weapon questions.

Advice

Im looking to build a Tiefling Bloodrager who uses the bite from the background and the claws from the demon bloodline. Id like focus on natural attacks and grappling if it can be done. My questions are

1 what feats should i look into?

2 what stats should i focus on?

3 gear?

4 can you use a touch attack spell in grapple with a natural attack? i know you can use a natural attack with a touch spell.. just not sure about grapple. also does gaining a grapple count for touching to set off a held spell??

Good feats: Raging Vitality, Power Attack, for grappling you'll need improved unarmed strike to get improved grapple, IUS is basically otherwise useless.

Casting in a grapple is quite hard, I'm pretty sure you'd still need to make the concentration check if you are the grappler. I'm not sure if grappling automatically triggers an active touch spell.

Another thing to consider is carrying a reach weapon, threaten close with your bite and afar with the reach, on your turn take a hand off the weapon to claw, then pass it to your other hand to take your second claw attack, bite then grab with both hands before you end your turn, the hands actions are all free actions. If you do this consider combat reflexes as a feat.

Edit- Also try to get a furious amulet of mighty fists

Not sure how this fits in your character idea, but I've got an oni-spawn tiefling inquisitor who uses his alter self ability to change into a troglodyte for combat. This gives him two claws and a bite and a +2 to his Str.

I also got my DM to approve a slightly modified version of the tiefling feat Fiendish Darkness, which lets me use my alter self spell-like ability 3x/day, just as a vanilla tiefling can use darkness 3x/day. So for challenging combats, I change into a trog, and for less challenging ones, I just smack things two-handed with my mace.

I haven't looked at the Bloodrager much, but this works well for me - though you'll take a hit to Cha, which might not be what you want.
