I have been away for far too long, but I am staging a comeback. Everyone from my original group seems to be very happy about it, too. I want to start off with something special for them, but I need a bit of advice and/or input.
My campaign plan is to incorporate some items most of us grew up with or watched or however you wish to say it. I am talking about He-man's Sword of Power / or King Grayskull's power sword, the Sword of Omens, Thundar the Barbarian's Sun-blade etc...
You get the idea. The problem is I don't have enough info on these weapons to fully incorporate them into a Pathfinder game. Any suggestions?

There is that; what I am actually doing is having them quest for the swords...it they can get them to work or not is on them, lol. There is going to be some dimension hopping to get to the other worlds, and if the swords work in their home dimension has yet to be known. Things like that, but the main thing is what would I list the swords as being capable of?

Looking at the insane amount of physical PowerHe-Man gets from his sword 3.pathfinder might not be the right system to simulate this. Since most it's feats come from raw strength you'd end up with a sword, that just gives a strength bonus.
The sword of Omens would work better IMO:
+X dagger, turns into a longsword when drawn. You also get the Deflect Arrows feat, which you may also use against ray attacks. If you use it to block a ray you can deflect it back at the user.

Let me see
Sword of Omens
This mystical blade is stored inside an armored bracer resembling the claw of a lion. When drawn, it resembles and functions as an epic keen +5 dagger. A catfolk wielding the sword can transform it into its sword form as a full-round action, upon which it becomes a longsword with the same additional properties as its dagger form. When in longsword form the Sword of Omens gains various additional abilities. As a standard action the wielder may fire a blast from the blade. This blast is a 120 ft. line dealing 20d10+20 damage of the wielder's choice of electricity, fire or nonlethal force damage. When used to deal nonlethal force damage the blast never deals more damage to a single target than necessary to make it fall unconscious. A successful DC 26 reflex save halves the damage.
When in longsword form the jewel at the base of the blade called the Eye of Thundera awakens from its dormant state. Upon being transformed into longsword form the Eye of Thundera symbol is projected into the sky and any catfolk within 200 miles that can see the symbol recieve a +6 morale bonus to all ability scores for the next two hours.
As a standard action the wielder of the Sword of Omens can use the Eye of Thundera to cast any divination school spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list. And once per day the wielder may use the Sword of Omens to cast any spell from the sorcerer/wizard spell list of 6th level or lower. Using the Sword of Omens or Eye of Thundera to cast a spell functions the same way as a spell trigger item except that the user does not require any levels in the appropriate class.
The Sword of Omens has a Hardness of 90 and 120 hit points per inch of thickness and regains one lost hit point per minute.

A wonderful and very thoughtful rundown of capabilities! Thank you for the help!

The weapons you are listing are pretty much artifacts in power scale. If that's the game you want to run, go for it. Just be warned that they will be difficult to deal with.
The Champion is a great class written by the author of Order of the Stick that gives a lot of He-Man flavor. It's designed for 3.5, but a pathfinder conversion wouldn't be difficult.

He-Man's sword could easily be represented with the rules from Mythic Adventures. Prince Adam is a normal character but when he wields the sword and says a little invocation he gains mythic tiers and becomes He-Man.
Sounds good, I was thinking along the lines of Adept god-ling...
Also, @ I3igAl, using both of them and then some, I am trying to stat them all up. In defense of the Sword of Power, it can stand up to a light-saber, deflect energy bolts and when combined with its other half it can unlock the castle Grayskull and other dimensions...
I don't plan on stopping with these two weapons either. The list is growing...in essence this is going to be a long running epic campaign, so the more I have to pull from the better!
Thundar the Barbarian's Sun-blade is a lot like a light-saber...I can find the equivalent for that...the Prime Matrix...getting weird but doable...you get the picture.
I still need to research the sword of Blackstar, too...so much work for just having fun...the life of a GM, lol

Very true...In the cartoons the weapons normally were 'given' powers to overcome certain problems at the will of the writers. It may wind up being a GM discresion thing, but some of these weapons can only be operated by certain people or certain types of people. The Sword of Omens cannot be used for evil, the Sword of Power was split in two so its full power couldn't be realized by one person, etc...

The campaign has started and after the first session everyone is stoked! I'll be running them in a variety of time lines or varied dimensions so they can get these items of power without disturbing what is supposed to be (comics do it all the time, so why can't I?).
They have come from the land of Arcadia, went to Cheliax to barter for spices, heard about the dimensional vortex and the weapons of power, got the spices and are now 2 months behind Cheliax for the weapons. We left off on Eternia and are about to do a dungeon crawl through Snake Mountain...this will give some players a chance to make it in time for the crawl through Castle Grayskull.
I plan on throwing in the D&D Animated series items...This should be both cool and nostalgic or at least the later.

@Joshua Goudreau: Prince Adam is a freaking Expert Were-Barbarian :P
@xanthemann: I'm interested in the actual stats you're using for the legendary swords. Any other 90's cartoon series that tickled your fancy, perchance? Also, it might be 3.5, but check out the Weapons of Legacy book. Might help with power scaling, or activating the items' powers etc...

When I was a child, thanks to the magic of action figure marketing, Eternia tended to be invaded by Cybertron (or vice versa) quite a bit in my neighborhood. Occasionally both would invade Earth, at which point the only option was to call in G.I. Joe. Imperial stormtroopers sometimes appeared as well, but sadly, they usually ended up as cannon fodder.
(returns from the mists of time)
I'm sorry, what was the question?
