This is a speculation thread

If everyone dosnt know there has recently been several announcements of future Pathfinder products mid/late year: There are a technology companion, a sourcebook on Numeria and several other related products.

Now PFS does not incorporate all the rules that the paizo products bring, however Id speculate at least some of this stuff might see some limited play. (if only as background ideas as people build a themed character for Season 6)

Anyone wanting to speculate on what options might open up?

Shadow Lodge

I for one welcome our new android overlords.

That being said, I highly doubt anything resembling a modern or futuristic firearm will be legal, even from a chronicle.

What about the date? If you mean when the books were announced, the Numeria book was announced on January 3rd, and the Technology Guide book was announced on March 31st.

It's a serious product. It was announced in March.

There is also a map pack or flip mat announced for Starship chambers (I can hear those PFS writers now racing to include it in season 6 :) )

People keep telling me its all very Spelljammer ish but it really seems more Dragonstar to me.

I've actually started considering a character that doesn't use any magic through his pfs career, and whether or not it would be viable at higher levels. There's already a lot of alchemy items out there that can do a lot of what magic can, albeit at a slower rate or less powerfully. If some of the technology IS allowed, this might just allow him to actually work as a character who believes science is the future and magic will dwindle away.
