Homebrew / Custom Archetype: Feedback Needed

Homebrew and House Rules

First, I'd like to stress that I'm new to PF compared to most of the people I run with. Our DM is pretty busy most of the time, so I can't say he gets time to look at all the silly things we do most of the time. (He's still awesome, though!)

Anyway, I decided with all the stuff he makes (custom races, custom racial archetypes), and how well his turn out, I wanted to try making a custom archetype, sort of like a combination of a monk and a fighter, focusing specifically on the exotic weapons, and one in particular. (Player's choice, obviously)

The problem is that the games I'm playing in don't really have a spot for this class so far, and I'm not going to jeopardize the group by doing so.

Basically, what I'm asking is if people can:

Look at the class and make suggestions to balance it out a bit, because I'm sure it's not quite balanced.

Possibly play-test it, since i have yet to get a chance to do so?

Keep in mind I'm new and I'm openly admitting that some aspects of the class will probably be a bit too good, which is why I'm asking for help here. So I'd appreciate it if people didn't completely lay into me and say "OMG this class is OP and you're bad at designing things."

Exotic Soul-Tentative Name

The name is also tentative, and if someone can come up with a better one, please make suggestions. XP

That link doesn't seem to work.

Okay, try this link and tell me if it works, please? Had to go and get the shared link since the first one didn't want to work.

Not working.

Did you set the doc to public?

Exotic Soul-Tentative Name

Okay, this one seems to work now, not sure why it wasn't before. >_< Really sorry about the 50,000,000 edits

How would whirlwind and Elegant Step interact?

Also, this a definitive step up from both the Monk and the fighter in raw numbers and available bonus feats department. They can get Whirlwind attack as a bonus feat at first level? I mean, I don't think a melee class can really be broken, but that's something to keep in mind. There's really nothing stopping anyone from playing this instead of a fighter, as like a quarter of the exotic weapons are just martial weapons+ with a feat tax attached (Naginata, Nodachi, bastard sword, etc.).

Well, what I had in mind for the bonus feats is that they're in the different pools, but the player would still have to meet any level requirements for it, otherwise they could get the critical feats a few levels earlier than required. I was thinking of changing the proficiency they get with proficiency in a single group of exotic weapons. I.E. Exotic Flails, Exotic Ranged, Exotic Slashing, etc. To be honest, I hadn't thought much about how well or how poorly some of the abilities would interact with certain skills/feats. I was more interested in building it in terms of flavors. Flavor-wise, what I had in mind was an archetype that was fairly nimble, hence the Elegant Step/Acrobatic Grace-type stuff. A friend suggested that I make the AC bonus reliant on a mental stat, so it prevented stacking for the AC bonus.

This class is strictly superior to both the fighter and the monk. It is perhaps even superior to a full gish of those classes.

Also: the way you have written the soulbound feature, the bonus would cap at +6 at level 20 (rather than +5 as you say).

Also: why does this melee class get Use Magic Device? Is he a rogue too?

Try this:
Zen Weaponmaster

@Excalibur: That was actually an accident. Originally, the class was going to have a split somewhere around level 9 or 10, with one path taking more of a focus on the physical, acrobatic aspects, while the other focused more on the arcane side of the bonded weapon. UMD shouldn't actually be on there, and is now deleted.
