Elf Grenadier (Alchemist AT) and the Elven Curve Blade.

I'm creating an elf alchemist, grenadier archetype. I get a free martial weapon proficiency from the archetype. Can I take this proficiency in the elven curve blade because of weapon familiarity?

All Elves (barring some change to racial traits) treat an Elven Curve Blade as a Martial weapon.

I was answering the question, with a question.

The answer is the same for both.

Perfectly legal. If you are planning to be an archer who takes the 4th level discovery Explosive Missile I have made the exact same build.
