Advice on making an awakened wolf monk.

Advice

This is the current character sheet. He is based off of my animal companion, and my GM let me keep his stats when he is awakened.

Any ideas on his feats,ect?

Flurry of Maneuvers is counterproductive for Boris. He can Flurry with his bite with Feral Combat Training and trip people anyways.

Make him a Flowing Monk and give him the Trip Feats (Improved/Greater Trip, Vicious Stomp).

He'll be a trip machine.

So my advice for Feats is get those 4 (Feral Combat Training, Improved Trip, Greater Trip, and Vicious Stomp), and drop the Maneuver Master idea since it's not helping. He can damage AND trip, just tripping is a downgrade.

And be sure to pick up the Wolf style feats!

Thanks for the feedback. I will think about it. I really don't want to lose the speed bonus, as Boris has kinda become an in-joke in my group because of his ability to move 800 feet in 6 seconds as an animal companion. But what you say is true, flurry of maneuvers is indeed wasteful.

Is there any other archetype that you would recommend that would let me keep my fast movement?

I though about taking the wolf style feats, but they aren't that good. The line is pretty bad, except for the last feat.

Regular Monk works just fine for him if you're attached to Fast movement. Give him some Qinggong abilities so he can shoot Scorching Ray out of his mouth or something.

Weapon Adept might be a good option too. Free Weapon Focus/Specialization with his Bite, and Perfect Strike.

Actually, Martial Artist might be the best option, unless he has some good way to deal with DR.

With his low Wis his Ki Pool will be low anyway, so not a huge loss. In return, he gets a buncha stuff.

Thank you very much. I really wanted the ki pool thing to work, but you are right, he would have like 5 ki points at level 9. I think I will change him to martial artist
