Using the Swashbuckler playtest, I'm curious if an effective build could be constructed. My orc paladin (long story, but he's got a very strong "really, really lucky seafarer" vibe) has a high Charisma and invests a lot in skills like Swim and Climb and Acrobatics, so it'd be awesome to be able to take advantage of the Swashbuckler's advantages instead of hurting my BAB with Rogue dips...
...but swashbucklers seem to generally favor light or one-handed weapons. Kabongak D'Barrow has a 2H Falchion-based design.
Thoughts?

Well...of the low-level Swashbuckler Deeds, only Menacing Swordplay and Precise Strike (well, and regaining Panache) actually require specific weapons, and even then any one-handed piercing weapon works...even if wielded two-handed. A Trident or Heavy Pick works as well as a Rapier.
You won't gain much from Swashbuckler Finesse, and might want to switch weapons, but other than that, there's no reason it can't work.
