Making my cleric better

Advice

This is for PFS by the way. I'm playing a halfling cleric using the cloistered cleric archetype. Deity is Calistria for luck domain (although Desna would be equally good, just means I cannot choose to channel harm :P)

The idea for this cleric is just going support, instead of just being that healbot. Using the halfling favored class option I'll be getting more uses for Bit of Luck per day and I took the Lucky Halfling feat to help party members to reroll. I also took the helpful trait from HoG (and hopefully it will work well with the level 3 cloistered cleric feature)

Also I changed the channel feature to channel harm luck (I'll have to get selective channeling soon) So does this build seem alright? Is there something you would do different or suggest to be changed?

A Cleric is always welcome at a PFS table. Even a healbot. Will you also try to inflict some martial damage, or will you leave that entirely to others and be martially incompetent?

Just remember to abuse your free scribe scroll feat.

The OP said it was for PFS. There is no scribe scroll feat in PFS.

@OP: Bit of Luck is a terrific buff, but you will rarely run out of it. Here's a post I wrote that mentions how useful Bit of Luck is. That said, you are better off with more HP than with more uses of Bit O' Luck. Also, be warned that negative energy Variant Channeling luck is pretty lackluster: the foes get a Will Save to avoid the luck penalty. Note that the positive energy version, which helps your allies, always works ...

Yeah, cloistered cleric gets Spell Focus in PFS, not scribe scroll.

Well, now I feel like a derp. Didn't pay attention to the PFS part.

Make sure to have wisdom and charisma as your high stats. Wisdom for your spells and spell DC in case you use any attack spells. Charisma is for the channels and channel DC. Since you are not looking to fight melee style, a nice way to turn your channels into a better weapon is the feat: alignment channel - evil. You might want to mix your spells between buffs, offensive power, and the cure/remove spells. Buff spells are always appreciated. Even though you will get the cure wound spells free, it would be good to take other "heal" spells like remove _______. It would also be good to take offensive spells like silence.

You may want to look at feats like extra channel and improved channel. Lightning reflexes wouldn't hurt because reflex is the bad save for clerics. If you do go into offensive spells, the 2 spell penatration feats could help, especially in higher levels. Always keep your armor level in check because smart bad guys may try and tag team the cleric. It doesn't have to be 30 something at 10th level but don't be easy prey either.

As long as he is still 1st level, try a few angles and see what you like most. My cleric has dipped a level into fighter and is going the route of damage per round. But that is me. Hope you have fun with your cleric.
