Hello! I would like some advice. I've never played a prepared caster before and the task seems daunting.
How do you keep track of the bajillion spells known and prepared (especially divine?)?
Is there some sort of document of summon monster cards that I can print and keep on me for when the spell is cast?
I'm starting with 3000 gold. Any must have magical items? Ultimate Equipment is not an option.

I use MS-Word to make a list of my commonly used spells, each with a short one-line description of the spell. My casting stats are at the top of the sheet (number of spells per day, etc.). Spells are grouped by level with any general level notes (like DC). The spell descriptions are necessarily cryptic. For example:
Fireball (Fire, Lng, 20’ radius spread, 1[10]d6, Rh)
or
Mass Feather Step (Sht, 10m/L, 1 creature/L, no 2 of which can be more than 60’ apart, Ignore difficult terrain effects)
In some cases, the description just says to see the spell description and lists the book and page to find the spell quickly, if the spell is too complicated to one-line.
As for Summoning, unless I'm building a character around summoning, I usually just avoid the spell because it's alot of work. When I do take the spell, I use MS-Word to stat up a few of the creatures I'm likely to summon and keep the sheet handy. I think there are some cheat sheets out there that you can download, but since I don't use them I can't tell you where to find them (but they do exist).
Main thing is to do something that works for you. Have fun!

If you start at level 1 with that much money, a level one pearl of power might be your best option.
Other than that, cards are the best way to keep track of spells known and description.
And you probably should download alternate player sheet, using one with a very developped spell part.

The most important thing to remember about playing a wizard is to keep spell slots open and unprepared. Essentially at the beginning of the day you prepare what you know or are pretty sure you will need.
As for your spellbook, I use an app on my phone called simply "Spellbook". It was about 2 bucks or something on the apple store. During the game I like to write my prepared spells for any given day on post-it notes.
For my fiance when she plays a sorceress I like to print her off these spellcards generated on this website. Its very helpful for her because it gives all the details about each spell.

Yeah, I use that app a lot too.
Here are some things to spend your money on:
Wand of Mage Armor 750 gp (saves you a spell slot for several levels)
level 1 Pearl of Power 1000 gp (increases firepower on the cheep - remeber it takes a standard action to recall a spell)
Handy Haversack 2000 gp (Increases carrying capacity - useful if you dumped Strength stat)
Here's what you do:
Spend 150 gp on mundane equipment (include some alchemical items)
Spend 350 GP on extra spells. If your GM will let you borrow an NPC spellbook this will let you learn 5 extra 1st and 4 extra 2nd level spells (each 1st level spell costs 15 gp and each 2nd level spell costs 60 gp)
Save the remaining 2500. At 3rd level use it to MAKE the pearl and the haversack when you take the feat Craft Wonderous Item. Total cost 3 days and 1500 gp.
Then save the remaining 1000. Use it as a downpayment on a Blessed Book. This costs a total of 6250 if you craft it yourself, so by 5th level or so you should have enough money.
Put much of your future wealth into learning new spells. They are now FREE to copy for 1000 spell levels. It's an investment to be sure, but it will really pay off in the long run.
Consider the price difference:
lvl 1 spell = 10 gp vs 6.25 gp
lvl 2 spell = 40 gp vs 12.5gp
lvl 3 spell = 90 gp vs 18.75 gp
lvl 4 spell = 160 gp vs 25 gp
lvl 5 spell = 250 gp vs 31.25 gp
lvl 6 spell = 360 gp vs 37.5 gp
lvl 7 spell = 490 gp vs 43.75 gp
lvl 8 spell = 640 gp vs 50 gp
lvl 9 spell = 810 gp vs 56.25 gp
This huge savings is realized because you payed up front for the spellbook by crafting it. Remember, you get two free spells per level so DON'T put these into the blessed book. Only use this for the spells you pay for.
NOTE: You do NOT need to be the required caster level to craft a magic item. This is a common misconseption. All the caster level does is set the DC of the skill check to make the item. These should all take Spellcraft which you will be maxing out anyway.
Also, you can craft items for your party members and get a bit of gold from them. This will depend a lot on other player's attitudes toward this, but since you get to make items at half price, charge them 75% of the standard price and pocket the rest. It's reasonable, given that they are getting a big discount and you are spending your character's time on their equipment. Some players get angry about this, so YMMV.
Have fun!
