Campaign idea

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So I may be posting in the wrong thread, if so my apologies, by I wanted opinions on a campaign a friend and I are creating. We will be co-GMing a party if 7-9. We thought it would be interesting if we incorporated the First World. Seeing as how it "lays behind" the material and shadow plane I was thinking maybe the 8 eldest had their spirits sealed away and their bodies/power was being used by the 9th eldest. It's all an elaborate scheme to merge the shadow and martial plane but he's using the fey and other eldest to keep eyes off him. By merging them he could them merge them with the First World. Seeing as how he had been banished to the shadow plane he finds a loop hole by merging these planes. The effects could be anything u wanted. Plus I have 8 bosses at least that the party could fight. Interesting or no?

Sounds really interesting!

Fey (from what I understand) are not very utilized in campaigns, so this kind of campaign would be a cool thing to look at.

You should look at the Kingmaker AP.

This sounds like a ton of fun! We've used the First World to some extent with all of our Pathfinder games, and it has always added a ton of flavor. The First World details are slightly less fleshed out than much of Pathfinder, but we found that useful for coming up with our own material.

The idea of a home plane where nature has exploded to the nth degree, and the natural denizens don't care about much about danger because they're functionally immortal is crazy fun for imagination space.

Ranalc has become a key diety in our campaign, and I'm sure glad we used the First World as much as we did.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
