Deeper Darkness issue

Advice

So I've started a new character for a home game, and I've encountered an issue and was wondering if anyone knew of a solution.

I am playing a Drow Ninja, and am still only level 1, so I have a long way for advancement. The idea is, to take the Drow Magic feats in the Advanced Race Guide, which will ultimately give me Deeper Darkness at will. The issue I ran into, is that my drow Darkvision does not allow me to see in this particular environment. What I want to do is use Deeper Darkness to cast on an item, and basically use it to get continuous sneak attacks on my enemies that can't see me. Is there anyway for me to be able to see in Deeper Darkness in anyways, via feats, magic items, or even a class ability? I have found nothing solid as of yet.

Thank you for your time in advance.

You could ask your DM to allow you to take Fiend Sight. It's a Tiefling feat, but if a PC wants to spend two feats to see in supernatural darkness, I'd let them.

Or stock up on some rather pricy elixirs

that is a pretty pricey route, but thank you for the advice

You can mitigate the blindness with the Blind Fighting chain of feats and the Shadow Strike feat. All together you can operate normally without being able to see, you can ignore concealment, total concealment is treated as regular concealment and only grants a 20% miss chance against you, and Shadow Strike allows you to deal SA damage to creatures with concealment. I put this build together a while ago with that in mind. It might give you some decent ideas.

Scarab Sages

You could get permanencyed Arcane Sight, then a Heartseeker Weapon. That'll allow you to detect anything with a magic aura, and attack them while they have total concelament, which you ignore because of your heartseeker weapon (as long as the enemy has a heart).

Err..why are there two threads for this?
