Pregen credit registered for first society number - is it locked to that number?

Having played pregens on my first society number, and having subsequently made a real character with that number, do I need to use those chronicle sheets for that character or can I save them for another one?

The number you assigned the chronicle to (presumably -1) cannot be changed. However, your shiny new character doesn't have to be that number. You can make it your -2, and leave the existing -1 chronicles for some future character to make use of if you prefer.

Ah, thank you. It's not exactly shiny-new though - I've played three scenarios with it, not including the two pregen ones. I'm not sure I still have the pregen chronicle sheets (they were played years ago at cons), though they're listed on my paizo account. Is there any way to handle this under the rules (like can 1st-level XP apply to 2nd-level advancement if it's in the same subtier), or should I just call it a clusterf~@! and start over on -2?

For the three scenarios you've played with the character, are you still in contact with the relevant GM/event coordinator(s)? If so, you could get all three games transferred over to a new -2 record, so the two pregen chronicles are no longer an issue for that PC.

Contact your local Venture Officer. They might be able to help you get replacement copies of the chronicles you lost.

Gark, assuming none of the games you played were 1st level only, (I don't think any of those exist?) you should be able to apply all 5 chronicle sheets just fine. I suppose a real stickler might complain that you played as level one when the character was level two, but most of us would just shrug and say "honest error" and move on.

If the sheets are reported on your paizo account, you should be able to work with your local Venture Lieutenant / Captain to get fresh copies of the chronicle sheets issued to replace the ones you lost.

If the scenarios played were any of the three First Steps, then they are first level only, but I expect that any subsequent chronicles are not, as only one of the First Steps is still legal for PFS. I would second getting in touch with your VO and getting copies of the chronicles and moving forward with 5 XP on the -1 character.

Thanks! I will also see about getting the chronicle sheets for the -1, but for purely fluff reasons I'd rather not use them on this character.

(And yes, none of them were First Steps.)
