Are people paying you to do that?

Anyway, while I'm not going to subscribe (shipment of the physical copy costs too much)I will be getting back to buying the PDFs with this one after skipping most of Mummy's Mask. I found that I tend to like Jacob's style of AP better, so even though I don't really like any of the themes of Numeria I'm certainly willing to check it out.

Yep, I'm a suspension bridge for a Lilliputian village. It's only a part-time gig, but they pay in tiny gold coins, which are ADORABLE.

My subscription for this AP is now purchased. So excited.

Done and subscribed! Several posts on the CS board over the last few weeks saying 'unsubscribe me, just for the next AP' helped push me into officially re-subscribing.

Seeing those requests makes me unjustifiably upset. I know people are allowed to have their own opinions and preferences, and my own are no more valid than theirs, objectively speaking. But still, man.

It happens every time there's a new AP. I wouldn't read too much into it, personally.

I've got too many paperback published adventures to re-subscribe, so "digital only" is a must at this point. I'm definitely grabbing the first installment (for the setting and because I'm a sucker for low-level campaign write-ups), but I'm steadily growing concerned about my wallet's new teeth...

One of the reasons I subscribe to the AP is the discount I get on everything else.

If I bought a ton of material and didn't homebrew so much, I would still be a subscriber. My campaigns go off the rails so early that it's almost pointless to buy anything past the first AP installment. Additionally, I've been playing about sixty percent of the time and haven't needed to buy that much.

For me it's the SciFantasy, Magitek, weird-vibe of the plot. My introductions to the fantasy genre were video games like Final Fantasy VI with its heavy steampunk+magic setting that managed to blend magic and technology in a way few stories have done since and Chrono Trigger with its modern schizo-tech, futuristic post-apocalypse techno-wasteland, and ancient magical technology from lost civilizations.

Heh. Two of my favorite games growing up... hadn't really thought how they played into my anticipation for Iron Gods.

My group is psyched to play it... but probably after Shattered Star. At least that way, I'll have the whole path in hand before we start.

Cheers!
