I've tried Google-ing this, to no avail : I'm looking for a list of what spells some of the psionic powers are the same (or nearly the same) as.
For example, to start with :
Far Hand = Mage Hand
Force Screen = Shield
Inertial Armor = Mage Armor
Locate Secret Doors = Detect Secret Doors
Slumber = Sleep
Concealing Amorpha, Greater = Displacement
Dispel Psionics = Dispel Magic
Heightened Vision = Darkvision
Sharpened Edge = Keen Weapon
Fold Space = Dimension Door
But I don't know either system well enough yet to just go down either list and say "oh yeah, that power is the same as this spell" off the top of my head. I know not every power has a spell equivalent, I'm just looking for the ones that do.
Can anyone help out? Any equivalent powers/spells you happen to know of?
Please note I'm not looking for *identical* spells/powers in terms of who can be affected, duration of the effect, range, etc. Just the actual effect itself.
And even the effects don't have to be exactly the same, just very similar (for example, Energy Retort is similar to Defensive Shock, even tho the former is more powerful in its effect).
I'll collect the results and re-post them when all the dust settles.
Thanks!

Stupid question not intended to be critical; what's the purpose? I mean, I might be able to dedicate some time to helping with this but it'd help if I had some concept of why such a list might be useful. Call it a failure of imagination on my part early in the morning but this is sort of like "I want to make a list of what spells appear as both divine and arcane, like cure light wounds and yeah, I know fireball appears in a cleric domain so that too." Help me help you.

Well, I started noticing that some powers were *identical* to some spells, and now I'm curious how many powers are truly unique (not repeated in the spell lists).
The PF SRD site has a spreadsheet of ALL spells, so I have actually found out which Wizard spells are duplicated in the Cleric's lists, but have no way to find out about the psionic powers.
I'm just curious about stuff like that, I suppose...

This should help. In 3.5, many psionic powers simply used spell names with an added 'psionic'. Since that was incredibly bland, it was changed in the Pathfinder revision.
It doesn't mean that those powers are the same as the spells, though, just similar.
