Some of my players have handwriting I can't read. What's worse is that sometimes they can't even read it themselves. There use to be a PDF for a D&D 3.5 sheet where you could just fill in fields before you printed it. I loved that sheet and required all my players to use it. Is there one of these for PF? If not, is there some sorta wizard somewhere that can whip one up for us? I don't have access to the necessary adobe program to be able to make changes to a pdf, like entering fields(if that's even how it works) or I'd give it a shot. I'm interested in this function on the official character sheet from the CRB. I've been using that format since 3e came out and I don't want to get use to a new sheet

I use one that I found at James the Bard.
For making notes on a PDF generally, I use the free NitroPDF "reader". It allows you to make notes, highlight and cross things out, sign a document, etc., and, most importantly, save what you create. It is especially handy in my online PFS games for creating filled-out Chronicle sheets.
I also use the free PCGen program (I like the OS ethos, and that it is free, which is important on my budget), although many people rave about the commercial HeroLab system.

I can make notes on pdf's with my version of adobe but when I tried it was a pain trying to get things to line up properly
