Tiefling Starting ages, and Aasimars

Dark Archive

I am sorry if this is in the wrong area in the message boards. Though this has stumped me, and i want every piece on my character to be as accurate as possible.

As for the post i do not know where to find an accurate representation on starting ages, and such for these two races. If anyone has a link that is more accurate than the pfsrd one then please link it. Thanks =)

I think the Advanced Race Guide had tables for Aasimar and Teiflings. I think it was the same as the Half-elf progression, but I'd have to check.

Dark Archive

i do not own the Advanced Race Guide. And i appreciate you taking time to help me with this.

Here it is!

These are still the same as the 3.5 ones. It still doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah. I use the Human tables for aasimar and tieflings, myself. Because otherwise an aasimar born into a human family has a hard time having parents.

So my question is Why cant Paizo make a list... And if i use the Human ages it makes less sense because Tieflings and Aasimars do not live that long compared to eachother. tiefling's blood manifests or something like that and they tend to die more frequently.

Paizo did make a list - It's at the link I posted.

Why should tieflings die sooner than aasimar?

The Exchange

Also, is there something incorrect about the d20pfsrd.com info?

Silver Crusade

The ARG numbers have been called out as being in error. It should match the base numbers for the mortal parent race.

For the time being PFS is stuck with the ARG numbers, but James Jacobs has confirmed that they should be much lower, otherwise it throws almost every tiefling/aasimar PC and NPC backstory out of whack both event- and timeline-wise. ;)
