Greensting Slayer?

Advice

This new Magus Archetype from Bastards of Gollarion allows you to use your arcane pool to sneak attack instead of providing your weapon with an enhancement bonus.

What are peoples thoughts on the Archetype?

I like the more roguish feel you can give your magus this way, also it can be stacked with Hexcrafter to lessen the need for Arcane Pool points somewhat. However I'm not sure if getting Sneak Attack for 1 attack (yeah not even the whole round...) is worth trading out your bread and butter buff.

I feel like you get gimped a lot...
It's good as a quick burst damage, but I like the idea of enchanting my weapon for a minute AND still having left over points for my Magus Arcana better.

It's a nice and different archetype for the magus though, for anyone wanting to go a sort of magic using rogue :)

You get 1d6 for ONE melee attack for an arcane point.

Even if you'd consider it on par with +1 for a minute (it's not, seriously), when you get 2d6, the normal magus gets +1d6 for a whole minute along with the +1 for the same amount of points AND he doesn't have to reserve his swift action to get it. For example, you can't combine it with quickened spell, since that's also a swift. On top of that it's SA damage, with all the downsides.

The pool-strike magus arcana is superior in every way.

It's really, really terrible.

The evasion is nice tho, but comes pretty late.
