Silver Crusade

Why did Paizo stop at level 10 on Prestige Classes? Is there anyway for them to come out with a book with all the prestige classes in it and have them go to level 15. They can add level 11-15 in the new book and I know I'd buy one. I'm sure there would be a lot more people wanting to continue their characters past level 10 in their prestige class. With characters able to reach level 20 with modules it would really be great if those characters with prestige classes can go past level 10 in them if they can. This also would let us see a lot of cool new stuff for them from level 11-15 in their prestige class. Any possibility of this being in the design anytime soon? If you can have the prestige classes go to level 20 that would cover you guys if you plan to put out products down the road to allow characters to go past level 20.

It's a holdover from 3.0/3.5 days, where WotC did the same thing.

Dark Archive

Most prestige classes are available around level 6, plus 10 levels of prestige class puts you to 16. Most adventures are coming to an end by then (most of the adventure paths stop around 17). Adding more levels won't really as much if you can't play them.

Thought modules could get you up to level 20. Besides in regular pathfinder non-society you can go past 20 can't you. I'm hoping they allow you down the road to go past 20 in PFS.

yeah here's hoping Mystic Theurge would get its well-deserved 14th level progression. Being always 1-2 levels behind in spells is A LOT to pay for when you don't even have the action economy to cast all the spells anyways.
