I was wondering if it was worthwhile (or too cheesy) to take be a Cleric of Desna with Travel/Liberation and then go for a one level dip as Inquisitor to get the Luck Domain power Touch of Luck? AND a Aasimar to boot.
Is this just too much at once? Will any DM look at this and then stare blankly at me?
Should I just stick to straight cleric (or Fighter 1/Cleric X)? Our party is made up a fighter, ninja, ranger, psion, and another cleric of Iomedae.

Never multi-class. Ever. Never ever. My group and I have been playing Pathfinder for years now and every character that has multiclassed has turned out to far weaker than a single classed character.
Just don't do it.
I don't agree with that at all. For casters it's a solid (although not perfect) rule. For martial characters, multiclassing can be very worthwhile. If your cleric is going to be a combat cleric, starting with a level of a full martial class can be a very good idea, to get some extra combat capability from the start.

Agree. Multiclassing can be very good IF you have a specific goal in mind. Magical Knack can even keep caster level up if you need to MC with a casting class.
Lets say you want to play an inquisitor who wants to channel. Magical Knack: Inquisitor trait, take a level in Cleric (With the crusader archetype if you need a feat, otherwise you get another domain or inquisition). Take Channeling Scourge and you now channel at your full character level, and can take Guided Hand if you want to be Wisdom based. As a side benefit you have a really large amount of orisons to play with.
You are one level delayed in getting new spell slots, but you cast those spells at your full caster level, and you have spellcasting and channel options you never would have had otherwise.
