Hey guys. I started a Pathfinder game with three of my friends, and I told them to make level 5 characters. I didn't use any modules or anything, I just thought up a city setting, some NPCs with goals of their own, and let them loose there, but I seem to lack actual plot-writing skills and the dedication to actually flesh out everything in a custom setting. So, I'd like to ask if there's a suitable adventure path or module that can be started at level 5, because I don't want my players to discard their well-made characters.

The adventure finder is a great resource for this sort of thing. Choose 5th level. Look through them and see if you can find one that fits your initial setting. Or if you want straight suggestions regardless of setting I've run carrion hill and found it to be extremely satisfying. It is more of a one shot then an extended campaign though.
If you want a longer campaign, the adventure paths wont help much, they all start at level 1, and though you could skip the first book or two, you loose something as often various later elements are set up in the early instalments.
The new 64 page format of paizo modules might be good, but the first 5th level one is tears at bitter mannor which isnt out till march.
There are lots of 3rd party adventures out there that dont start at level 1. Any idea what kind of game you want to run? Intrigue, dungeon crawl, pirate adventure?
