keep what you kill...

Advice

So I like the idea of keep what you kill but I like it more than I kill you keep your weapons... I like the raveners abilities because of it... I kill you I keep your soul... so I would love to make weapons based off raveners but too much work for the moment...

But I was wondering about keeping a power orspell if you kill a wizard one time use type thing...

Wizard is easy random spell you.can cast at a lower caster lvl or the same I don't know

But if you kill a barbar do you get to rage? Or what do you get if you kill a fighter

The closest thing I can think of is the blood transcription spell, which lets you learn a spell from a slain spellcaster's blood.

There's probably some spellthief-like archetype or prestige class I'm missing as well.

If you wanted to make weapons with that concept in mind then why don't you make them "growing" weapons? Like based on what is killed the weapon gets XP that can then be spent on weapon properties based on what was slain? If you wanted to keep it current with what was recently killed you could make the property change automatic (ie DM discretion) and have the gained properties fade after so long.

Didn't see anyone reply I like the ideas

Thought this was gonna be a Riddick thread....

Silver Crusade

I like the growing weapons idea best for this.

Me too so next lets state riddick ;) you just thought it wasn't gonna be bout him... so lets give him a lvling dagger (he usually uses some kind of dagger) I like the bone dagger the best

So class?
Race? Human I'm thinking
eyes are easy darkvision and light sensitivity free feat shined eyes?
doesn't usually have armor so that's difficult
fast strong intelligent and like it or not charismatic and high con dunno bout Wis

Most would argue not charismatic but he can lead people and bluff and intimidate is cha too...
