Yeah, Dark Souls is great/terrible. I only get to play it when my wife and kids are asleep so I even have to suppress the screaming and cursing and that is the hardest game to do it on. Rage quit much?

I'm partially Ukrainian and my Great Grandmother taught us some of the words when we were little kids.

The only two words I remember are "Niet" and "Chorta" (spelling?)

Niet = No, obviously

Chorta = "You (little) Devil"??

IIRC Chort is the equivalent of a little devil. Chorta however is usually used as the equivalent of "Damn!" or "god dammit!" ... at least in russian :)

On a slightly related note I mentioned russian in context of ArcheAge because the Russian Open Beta is about to start for ArcheAge.

GW2 or ometimes I pop into Vindictus. It's a rail action game with neat physics and the classes are nuanced-but-not-hardcore and very different from each other. It's F2P and I've never missed out from never spending a cent so I feel good about that part.

Yeah, New Londo, so many ways to die! But I love the challenge. Ended up staying up until 4am last night playing to get to a decent point and feel I got anything done.

There are tons of games pending on your view of what is good for passing the time.
If you has a PS3, Dragon's Crown is great.
And there are old classic games like Half-life, Neverwinter Nights (1 + 2), etc.

Although it's a single-player game, Skyrim is always epic, especially if you have the PC version (Glorious Master Race platform ... *gigglesnorts* yeah, no!) and can mod the hell outta it, you get a lot, and I do mean a lot, of replay value.

If you are looking to pass the time, waiting for PFO, give Fallen Earth a try. F2B and F2P and it's lead designer was Lee Hammock, who is on the development team here with PFO.
