I just watched the video and I what I like the most is the endless space to explore. It really look like a huge virgin area to explore. I'm not worry that much about the characters or monster skins, 'cause as Ryan says, they would re-skin them. It feels as a solid work, and I will back PFO as soon as the store is up (can't wait to give away my money to GoblinWorks xD). The only thing that looks a bit weird to me is the bars around characters and enemies. Hmmm... I would say that their design are not cool enough for PFO... Yet. I guess. Would that be redefined too?
I'm totally cool with the PvP in EVE. I hope PFO will have something close to that but, here we will have the alignment, and that could make a diference because it might be not so profitable to kill without reason. The paladin comes to mind. If a Paladin goes crazy and try to kill you for the loot, he might lost all his paladin special habilities, at least, the ones related to auras and spells.
Here I'm again. Maybe im bringing back a topic that's been already solved, but once again, I found myself lost in a huge ammount of info. I like the xp model that goblinworks is going to use in PFO but, i don't see the need to pay xp points per character. If I got the thing clear, you'll be paying a month subscription just to gain xp for one character? Wouldn't be better to lock the xp gain to an account and let the players decide in which character spend those points? Also, what would be the limit of characters per account?
Hello guys. I've been dipping in and out of this forums and i'm trying to clarify some ideas about classes and gathering/processing/crafting: - Can I be a lvl 20 mage with gat/pro/craft skills without malus on my lvl class cap so I can get the FINAL SKILL :P - It is decided yet that the level 20 caps would be changed for a dedication bonus? Maybe it's been resolved already, but its imposible to me to find a final answer. Thanks in advance! |
